Aurora, Colorado · Small business websites

Aurora web design that makes your business easy to understand.

A clear website gives people the essentials: what you do, where you serve, and how to get in touch. KerrDM builds websites for Aurora small businesses, from a first professional site to a focused redesign.

Start with the website

Give visitors a useful next step.

For Aurora contractors, independent shops, professional services, and community organizations. We agree on the pages and deliverables in a written scope before work begins.

01 / Clarity

Explain your services

Focused service pages describe what you offer, who it is for, and the areas you serve. Clear navigation helps visitors find the details that matter to their decision.

02 / Usability

Make room for every screen

Responsive layouts adapt to phones, tablets, and desktops. Readable text, accessible headings, and usable buttons make it easier to browse without pinching and guessing.

03 / Contact

Show people how to reach you

Visible contact details and a clearly labeled enquiry path help visitors ask about your services. Any agreed form includes validation and testing of its destination and success or error states.

04 / Foundations

Prepare pages for discovery

Descriptive page titles, metadata, a sitemap, and appropriate structured data help search engines understand your site. These foundations do not guarantee rankings or enquiries.

A website, in practice

Help a visitor answer the basics.

This sample shows how a home-service website could introduce the business, explain the work, and guide an enquiry. Your content and design would be reviewed around your own services.

How we would work together

A clear path from scope to handoff.

A proposed process for your project. Review points, responsibilities, and launch arrangements are agreed in the written scope.

  2. 02

    Content & design review

Review the page structure, draft copy, and visual direction together. Gather your feedback and confirm business details before the build moves forward.

  3. 03

    Build & testing

Build the agreed pages and check mobile layouts, keyboard navigation, links, forms, and page metadata. Review the preview and resolve agreed issues before launch.

  4. 04

    Launch & handoff

After your approval, coordinate the agreed hosting and domain setup. Confirm account access and provide the agreed editing guidance and handoff materials.

Optional · Separately scoped

Add connections when you need them.

These capabilities are not required for your website. If there is a useful fit, we can discuss the tools, permissions, third-party costs, and testing needed for a separate scope.

Before you start

Questions worth asking.

Can we discuss my existing website before deciding to rebuild?

Yes. We can start by discussing your current website, customer needs, and priorities to see whether focused improvements or a rebuild make sense. Any consulting, review, or implementation work is defined in a written scope, with deliverables and fees agreed before work begins.

What goes into my website scope?

We agree on the pages, features, review points, and handoff deliverables in a written scope. It records exclusions and how additional work is approved. CRM, scheduling, and automation are optional and separately scoped; you can start with a website on its own.

Who provides the website content?

You provide accurate business details, service information, and any existing brand assets or photos you have permission to use. Copywriting, editing, or image sourcing can be included as agreed in the written scope. You review the content for accuracy and approve it before publication.

What affects cost and timing?

Page count, content readiness, design complexity, integrations, and any migration from an existing site affect the estimate. Feedback rounds and access to the required accounts also affect timing. The price, payment terms, and project schedule are agreed in the written scope after discovery.

Who owns the website, domain, and accounts?

Our default is client-owned domain registration and third-party accounts, with limited delegated access for KerrDM. Ownership and transfer of custom code, design, and other deliverables are defined in the written scope. Third-party assets and software retain their own licenses. Hosting arrangements, recurring fees, renewals, and any transfer assistance are agreed separately in that scope.

Is support included after launch?

Launch and handoff tasks are defined in the project scope. Ongoing support is optional and separately scoped. Any content updates, maintenance, backups, response expectations, fees, and cancellation terms should be agreed in a written scope for that support arrangement.

How do we work together?

KerrDM is based in Aurora, Colorado, with nationwide remote service and local in-person meetings by appointment. We can collaborate through video calls, email, and shared previews. Communication channels, feedback checkpoints, and the people responsible for approvals are agreed in the written scope.
